When we came to Japan in the end of February, we first stayed in Osaka for a couple of days.
I have been to Japan once before some years ago but only for a short holiday. So I knew a little about Japan beforehand but I did not have deep knowledge of the local culture, habits and behavior.
I think that if you are only a short time traveler, you hardly learn the real local culture.
